swgohevents.com is a fan made website, created by sigsig, which collects data about events in the Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes mobile game. The website uses datamining as well as CG's monthly calendar to populate the event information. This information is stored and can be viewed after the event is over, allowing players to see the history of all events and help make decisions on which characters to farm next.
SWGoH Events now only shows datamined or confirmed dates from CG. It used to show estimated dates but that led to a lot of confusion so the estimated dates were removed and replaced with labels such as "Coming Soon", "Mid Cycle" and "Ended Recently." These labels are calculated based on the events history and are divided into thirds.
Event Notifications
SWGoH Events uses several ways to push event information to players of the game. The notifications are only available for "featured" events which have been datamined from the game before CG releases their calendar. A lot of the time this includes events that are never in the calendar, such as Credit Heists, but it has also happened for Legendary and Hero's Journey events.
The @swgohevents Twitter is uses for notifications as well as a public discussion about events.
Discord
SWGoH Events has a Discord server set up where players can talk about event news, tips, and rumors. Any new information is almost always posted there first. You can also subscribe to specific events and get push notifications if they are datamined.
The featured events are also automatically pushed to /r/swgalaxyofheroes on Reddit as new posts. This always people that only visit Reddit to know when new events are coming and to be able to comment on them.
Marquee Schedule
SWGoH Events added a marquee schedule which tracks when a marquee character arrives, when they will go into shipments, and finally when they will become farmable. This makes it very easy to keep track of farming priorities.
iCalendar
The site also has an iCalendar feed set up which allows you to subscribe to the events while using Google Calendar, Apple iCal, or any other internet based calendar.
SWGoH Event Bot
The SWGoH Event Bot is a Discord bot that was created to keep players up to date with events. It has commands to display a list of events, ask when an event is coming, and get marquee information. The bot is available to invite to your own Discord server.
Alexa Skill
The SWGoH Events Alexa skill allows you to ask Alexa when an event is coming. More features are planned later.
