Fight Mechanics
- Tier I: The Battle Up There
- The Soulless One will inflict Marked on the weakest other Droid ally at the start of each ship's turn, making itself difficult to target. Use Taunt effectively in order to weather the storm of Buzz Droids from enemy Vulture Droids.
- Make effective use of attacks that damage all enemies to avoid being overwhelmed.
- The fight starts with the Soulless One (General Grievous) and 4 Vulture Droids on the field and will reinforce with 3 more Vulture Droids as they are destroyed.
- Tier II: General Conflict
- General Grievous can't be targeted until both Droidekas have been defeated. While the Droidekas' shields are active, they have Damage Immunity.
- Defeat IG-100 MagnaGuards in order to drop the Droidekas' shields, allowing your squad to damage and defeat them. New MagnaGuards will appear when the Droidekas redeploy their shields.
- Defeating the Droidekas efficiently will be key to victory; the longer the fight goes on, the more Max Health Grievous gains from his Unique ability.
- Tier IV: Clash on Kamino
- The 501st Clone Troopers can't lose Health while General Skywalker is Advancing, but they can lose Protection. General Skywalker and the 501st can punish attacks from your squad that damage all enemies; use these attacks wisely. Determining the best order of defeating the clones when General Skywalker is in Cover is key to victory.
Tips
If you attempt these battles with the minimum, or otherwise low gear, it will likely require multiple retries to get the strategy, turn order, kill order and other RNG the way you need it.

Guides
These guides assume you are attempting these battles with the minimum, or otherwise low, gear, but they may still apply with higher geared characters. However, if any character's zeta applies to the battle, it is assumed they have been given.
- Tier I: The Battle Up There
- When trying to complete with lower gear (minimum requirements), strategy and luck are key. This can be completed with the Endurance Capital Ship, but The Negotiator makes it easier.
- Minimum ships needed/suggested: Anakin's ETA-2 Starfighter, Ahsoka Tano's Jedi Starfighter, Umbaran Starfighter, and Clone Sergeant's ARC-170 (it may also be doable with Jedi Consular's Starfighter, Plo Koon's Starfighter or Rex's ARC-170 instead).
- The more ships you have and the higher gear the pilots are, the easier this fight will be. The following is based on: Gear 12 Jedi Knight Anakin, Gear 12 Ahsoka Tano, Gear 10+3 Clone Sergeant - Phase 1 and Gear 8+4 Fives with 1 zeta - all with 5-dot, level 15 mods.
- During this fight, the Soulless One (Grievous) will Mark his weakest ally, so you won't have a choice in who to target. Start with Anakin, Ahsoka Tano, and your choice of 3rd (Clone Sergeant's ARC-170 is easy to farm and is a Tank). If you are using Endurance, use Hold fast on your non-Anakin or Ahsoka ship (Clone Sgt) so they take the brunt of the initial attacks; this ship will likely be destroyed, unless the pilot is substantially geared. Bring in Umbaran Starfighter as the reinforcement. The Umbaran's maxed Reinforcement Ability removes 25% turn meter on all enemies, gives defense up to all allies and inflicts Target Lock on all enemy ships with 0% turn meter. If this is timed right, at least 2-3 enemies will be Target Locked. Then use Umbaran Missile Pods; this attacks all Target Locked enemies and does an extra 20% damage for each Target Locked enemy. This should result in substantial damage (at least 40-60% extra) and kill/severely damage each ship. You may have to finish off a couple of ships, and then you work on the Soulless One. Keeping Ahsoka alive up to this point is very helpful, because she can dispel the Retribution that the Soulless One gets.
- Tier II: General Conflict
- When trying to complete with lower gear (minimum requirements), strategy and luck are key. In this battle, you need high enough speeds and a good starting turn order.
- The fastest enemies (Magnaguards) have 270 speed, so you want at least 4 out of 5 of your allies to have at least 271 speed (C-3PO only needs 251 because his unique adds 20 speed).
- There are a few turn order methods, but the key turns are Padme and C-3PO; Shaak Ti and General Kenobi's turns are relatively switchable, and Ahsoka will likely always go last, usually after the Magnaguards, and maybe after B1 (this requires adding almost no speed to her via mods), but some strategies may need her to go before B1. It is best to have Padme go first so she can use 'Cunning Plan' to give everyone Protection Up, which they will turn into stacks of Courage to do major damage on their turns. C-3PO's position defines who will assist when 'Oh My Goodness' is used. If he's last, everyone will assist.
- In all scenarios, you need to target and attack B2 until he's gone. Otherwise, his Unique may kick in if you hit another droid, he will gain full turn meter and dispel all of your protection up and other buffs. If any ally dies before you take out a Droideka (maybe even both), restart.
- You will also need to get 3 stacks of Translation on Padme (and preferably Shaak) as soon as possible. This will allow C-3PO to reduce her cooldowns every time he uses his basic, allowing for more uses of her vital specials.
- When General Grievous' countdown is finished, and he's taking turns, you will want to make sure everyone has Protection Up to ensure they survive his AOE.
- Padme, Shaak Ti, General Kenobi, C-3PO.
- The following strategy requires enough speed on Padme and GK to go 2x before a Droideka goes. GK shouldn't need much speed over the 271 threshold because he will supply himself with 60% turn meter when he uses his first special; Padme needs relatively high speed (somewhere above 290).
- The kill order is B2, 1 Magna, 1 Droideka, 1 Magna, 1 Droideka, and then the remaining Magna and B1. B1 will mostly be whittled down by counters due to Retribution. You can also use any non-Courage attacks on B1 (Basic attacks or non-attack specials that call Ahsoka to assist) on B1 as well to further reduce his Battalion stacks to take advantage of attacks that do low damage and don't help to kill another enemy.
- Target B2 with Padme's 'Cunning Plan'. Use Shaak's 'Training Exercises' on Padme (Padme will assist and add an additional stack of Protection Up to everyone). Use GK's 'The Negotiator' to give everyone Retribution (this will help Shaak and Ahsoka to counter attack the Magnaguards and dispel their taunts). Then use C-3PO's 'Oh My Goodness', targeting Padme again (this will give Shaak and GK a stack of Protection Up, and more importantly, it will give Padme a 2nd stack of Translation). Everyone will assist, and this will take down B2; Shaak or GK should be left with 5+ stacks of Courage.
- The Maganguards will attack with either their AOEs, dispel attacks, or a mix.
- Your next goal is to kill a Magna followed by a Droideka.
- Best case scenario, both Magnas use their AOE and are dispelled. It should be Ahsoka's turn now (before B1 goes), and depending on her gear level, mods and whether either of the Magnas are taunting (if one is, it will likely be the healthier one) 1 of 2 things should happen:
- 1. Ahsoka kills a Magna. Assuming the above speed requirement was met, Padme will go next. Use her 'Graceful Assault' for a mass assist to stun/kill a Droideka. Next is GK. If the 1st Droideka is down, use his 'Lead the Charge' to damage the next Droideka.
- 2. Ahsoka does not kill a Magna. Padme can then use her 'Graceful Assault' to kill the Magna (this may seem like a waste, but you need her to get her 3rd stack of Translation). Now use GK's 'Lead the Charge' to kill a Droideka.
- After one of the 2 above happens, B1 and the remaining Droideka will take their turns. After this point, your goal is to use Shaak's assist special, whenever available, on C-3PO so he uses his basic and reduces cooldowns. Most often, this will allow Padme to use 'Cunning Plan every (maybe every other) turn to keep the Protection up/Courage on.
- Best case scenario, both Magnas use their AOE and are dispelled. It should be Ahsoka's turn now (before B1 goes), and depending on her gear level, mods and whether either of the Magnas are taunting (if one is, it will likely be the healthier one) 1 of 2 things should happen:
- Now, manage your Protection Up and stacks of courage to ensure you survive the Droideka and General Grievous' attacks.
- After you kill the last Droideka, you will be able to target and attack Grievous.
- Once you take out all of his protection, he will Mark remaining droids (if there are any), forcing you to target them.
- Once Grievous is the only remaining enemy, he will become Enraged, and his attacks will inflict Healing Immunity which cannot be dispelled.
- If C-3PO has already died or dies at this point, it will be significantly harder because he will no longer be able to reduce Padme's cooldowns.
- At this point, your focus on Padme's specials will need to shift: If Grievous is not stunned, and Padme's 'Graceful Assault' is available, use it to hopefully stun him. If Grievous is stunned, use 'Cunning Plan'. Keep whittling him down and keep him stunned when possible. The cooldowns from C-3PO make this possible.
- If C-3PO has died, you will likely need GK at least Relic 5 to ensure he is able to survive several attacks from Grievous.
- Mission complete! Congratulations!
- If C-3PO has already died or dies at this point, it will be significantly harder because he will no longer be able to reduce Padme's cooldowns.
- Padme, C-3PO, Shaak Ti, General Kenobi and Padme, Shaak Ti, C-3PO, General Kenobi
- These attack orders follow a similar strategy. But they usually require GK to use his mass assist instead of giving everyone Retribution, so you will need to manage the Magna's taunts differently (use C-3PO's confusion to prevent them from gaining Taunt).
- The videos above cover these and more strategies.
- In all scenarios, you need to target and attack B2 until he's gone. Otherwise, his Unique may kick in if you hit another droid, he will gain full turn meter and dispel all of your protection up and other buffs. If any ally dies before you take out a Droideka (maybe even both), restart.
- When trying to complete with lower gear (minimum requirements), strategy and luck are key. In this battle, you need high enough speeds and a good starting turn order.
- Tier III: Seeing Red
- You use a supplied General Skywalker for this fight and is difficult (if even possible) to lose.
