Guide Info

This is an f2p farming guide for SWGoH. I am giving my recommendation on how to progress in the game, considering Squad and Fleet Arenas, GAC, and Raids.

Crystal Refresh Note

DO NOT WASTE YOUR CRYSTALS!

You may think that Chromium Packs or Credit Packs are worth it: they are not.

Only use your crystals to refresh your energy — this is written below in order of priority

  • 3x 50 crystal refreshes on normal energy
  • 2x 100 crystal refreshes on cantina energy
  • 3x 50 crystal refreshes
  • on fleet energy
  • 1x 50 crystal refreshes on mod energy
  • 1x 100 crystal refreshes on cantina energy
  • 2x 50 crystal refreshes on mod energy

Gear Note

  • Recommended Gear is a recommendation
  • Relic Levels and Gear Levels are not instantly attainable
  • Gear up your team as a whole
  • Most teams will eventually reach relics, but if a character is suggested at relics earlier, then it is more important

Farming Locations

Hard Battles (Light Side, Dark Side, Fleet)

  • You can farm each node 5 times per day for free.
  • DO NOT spend crystals on refreshing a node
  • You can farm multiple characters on Hard Nodes Simultaneously
  • If there is a node with multiple characters/ships, but only one is mentioned in the farming guide, then once you have finished that character/ship, there is no need to finish the other one.

Cantina Battles

  • You can farm each node as many times as possible
  • Farm one character at a time
  • If you do not have access to a character in the farming guide, move to the next one until the first one becomes available.

Shipments

  • You can farm as many units as you can based on the currency you earn per day
  • Different Shipments:
    • In regular shipments, buy all gear items in the third and fourth row that cost credits
    • In weekly shipments, I wouldn't waste any currencies there
    • In the Guild Store, there are four different currencies
      • Guild Tokens should be used on gear and characters you need: you do not need to keep any currency in reserve
      • MK I Raid Tokens should be used on characters listed in your farming guide. Hoard to max
      • MK II Raid Tokens should be used on G12+ gear
      • MK III Raid Tokens should be used on High-End Relic Materials like Impulse Detectors
      • The Galactic War Reserve Tokens should be used for Geonosian ships. After those are completed, the reserve should be used on target ships that don't appear often.
      • The Fleet Arena Store reserve should be used on the following (in order of priority):
      • Extra Fleet Arena Store Currency should can be used to speed up other farms
    • Only use the Mod Store for mods with perfect primaries, secondaries, and stats. Ask more experienced players in your guild or on discord before you buy a mod you are not 100% sure is worth it.
      • You should only spend MK I Tokens on exclusive characters (until all are completed). If your next character is locked, hoard until you have 68400
      • You should only spend MK III Tokens on Impulse Detectors, along with Wat Tambor and Ki-Adi-Mundi (if you are not doing their respective TBs)
    • DO NOT buy General Grievous Shards from the Shard Shop. Use it almost exclusively for G12+ gear, and only if desperate should you use it for other gear.
    • Use the Conquest Store as you see fit during and after the event. Personally, I recommend only buying shards there.
    • Use the Legend Tokens Store as you see fit. To earn these tokens, you need a relic 7 Galactic Legend to play in Ultimate Events: you should have a decent understanding of the game by then.
