Character Shards

Jump to navigationJump to searchCharacter Shards are the resource required to unlock and increase (promote) the rarity (Stars) of a Character. Characters unlock at different amounts of shards and each Star requires a different amount to upgrade to the next star with all characters requiring a total of 330 shards to reach 7 stars. Character Shards can be acquired from almost all areas of the game, see the character's page to learn where to acquire them.

Character shards will accumulate until they are used to promote the unit to the next star. All shards left over and any acquired after a unit has been promoted to 7 stars will be exchanged for 
Shard Store Tokens upon entering the Shard Store. Shards will be exchanged at the following rates:
- Accelerated Rate Shards = 1 for 15
- Original Rate Shards = 1 for 30
There are currently two types of Character Shards: Original Rate and Accelerated Rate.
- Original Rate shards are available at the normal quantity for each location it can be acquired from.
- Accelerated Rate shards are available at double the normal quantity for each location it can be acquired from, excluding Data Cards, Quests and Achievements.
